iPad Current Status Target Status Major Steps
DEP Brand New
  1. In ASM, add Serial Numbers and assign to ESP MDM
  2. In ESP Admin Console, Update DEP
  3. On iPad, activate the devices, and note Remote Management and
  4. ESP app will be installed automatically
DEP Change to ESP from other MDM
  1. In ASM, assign Serial Numbers to ESP MDM
  2. On iPad, remove previous MDM Certificate and wipe device
  3. ESP Remote Management and eSchoolPad app will be installed after reset
non-DEP DEP
  1. Use Apple Configurator to connect with iPad, and add to DEP
  2. In ASM,  assign Serial Numbers to ESP MDM
